Progress for today: I have read about siezing sizes IFB after reaching 1000 Deg. temp for 5-10%, so decided to have double proof by firebrick. If I had a barrel stove, I'd make riser from IFB only, but in a brick stove I would not have ability to fix problems, if they had.

Would air side feed works? Yes, no problem, according to the latest findings with the DSR2. I published the drawing of the DSR2 with doors, just do it like that and it will work. Drawing can be downloaded here.In case you can't open the .skp file I can do some pictures. What size of floor channel should be? 40x60, 50x50, 60x60? Floor channel vertical size 35x35x2mm, horizontal part 60x40x2mm or twice 35x35x2mm. Arranged like this:

Thank you!
Now I have even more questions. I opened it. I measure and think. Thank you!
Is it for 150 or 160 mm?

It's actually for a 150 mm version. But the difference isn't that large so you should be alright using this for your 160 mm system.

Is there a difference betwin square and octagonal riser?
Octagonal looks like too complicated.

Is there a difference betwin square and octagonal riser? Octagonal looks like too complicated. Octagonal is more complicated, yes. In case a casted riser is in order, octagonal is easier to do than round. The combination of a square riser and a floor channel is just as good, I've done a couple of builds like that with surprisingly good results. Even the latest double shoebox rocket which is tested endlessly sports a square riser and no back sweep, the 45 degree ramp at the rear wall of the riser. The pattern of the double vortex isn't that nice, much more chaotic. But then, the results are very good and simple to build, is there more to wish for?

In my drawing the tube isn't 60 mm square, but 60x40x2 mm instead, 40 mm side facing front. Don't forget the tube directly above the firebox' door acts as a balancing pipe, see the tube at the left of the drawing.
