330-2 LL 330-2 LX 330-1 330-1 LX
I see all these for sale on ebay, but the Testo website no longer sells these.
Who has one and which ones are not capable of logging data into a computer for making graphs?
Thanks for looking...

peterbergVortexSorry I tagged you both because I know you are currently using a Testo and it is probably one of these models...

Found some old Testo Reference Material, all the 330-LX are capable of using easyheat software...
Looks like all the 330 models can graph and the 320.

Keep in mind: in order to measure a wood burning appliance you'll need a T 330-2. To my knowledge, that's the only one with an automatic dilution feature so it won't shut down as the CO is getting too high during a test.

Wanted to get some feedback first. Thank you.

Ok so we wanna stick with the 330-2 for the graphing ability and the auto dilute for hi CO.
320, 330-1 LL and 330-1 LX no good due to lack of CO dilution.
Thank you again for the operating experience!

peterberg, How many test runs do you get out of one testo filter, or do you go by the color?

Good question... What happens with the white circular filters is that those collects water, quite a lot. Most of the time, when that same filter is just dim grey it can be used over and over again provided it is being dried between sessions. Some of my filters were used multiple times this way, easily 10 times as a guess. And you can turn them around, I always use the lightest side of it. I have a hoard of grey filters, when I can't see a difference from the last test anymore I throw them away. This colour of a one time filter is an indication of how much soot is produced. Some of these are beige or even dingy, very good runs!

Yeah there are some affordable 330-2s for sale but from foreign countries and it looks like they would need to be serviced soon from Testo to be accurate.
Haven't pulled the trigger yet...

Hello Wolf/Dan(?), Great to see you having started this thread, the more Testo info we can get onto the forum the better. I have, with a local friend in Spain, just last month acquired a refurbished Testo 330-2LL. There are lots of things that I have only found out about it since getting it and reading all manuals and seeing all videos online that I have been able to find... there were not many and I must have been using the wrong search strings as I am finding it hard to find stuff at all. I have also been asking a lot of questions of peterberg that he has been very good to answer. So the main issues I have had (so far) are: 1. Ours did not come with what is needed to test solid fuel (=wood) devices. Only on reading the manual the second time did I notice this: "The solid fuel measurement adapter (0600 9765) is required for measurements on solid fuel systems. The adapter protects the measuring instrument from harmful substances (dust, organic compounds, etc.)." This set, part number (0600 9765), is an extra 350GBP+tax, from Testo. peterberg replied to my query about it, but I will let him post what he said to me. 2. Though the 330-2 is a data logger that can be connected to a PC there is no cable to connect with and the EasyHeat software has to be bought separately, well there is a 30-day free trial but then it is 89GBP+tax for an activation code, from Testo. 3. As my instrument was bought in the UK it came set as such. But the UK doesn't have 'wood' as a preset fuel! Second idea was to set it to Spain (as this is where we will be doing our testing), there is no 'wood' there either. So having perused " Calculation formulae, fuels and parameters" from Testo I concluded that it is fine for all the people from the USA on the forum as you have got 'wood' as a pre-set fuel, but I am not sure how the efficiency figures compare with what Peter gets from his tool set (I assume) to the Netherlands. The good thing for me is that (apart from the UK) most European countries use the same formula for efficiency, as far as our stoves are concerned (they are different in some countries if it is a condensing boiler), and the data for the pre-set 'wood'-fuel is close to the same in all countries apart from (NOTE!!!) the Netherlands! The O2base is 6% in the Netherlands, and 13% elsewhere for equivalent moisture content in the wood. (Is this in any way linked with why you are not wanting to go below 6% O2 Peter? And if so, why do other countries have 13% O2base?) And CO2max is 20.0vol% in the Netherlands, and 20.3vol% elsewhere for equivalent moisture content in the wood. The other figures for the 'wood' preset fuel are the same in all countries in the publication mentioned above, apart from the A2 & B values being different in the Czech Republic. I have not yet attempted to work out how much of a difference it makes to the efficiency to have the tool set at Netherlands compared to (for example) Germany. Can anyone help? The good news on this point is that it is possible the change the country setting (I guess infinite number of times), so I have set our tool to the Netherlands and then changed the language back to English. Vortex, what are the settings that you use & do I remember you being in Ireland? (I did not find any data for Eire.)

The 330-2 LL that I have was bought in Germany and the language changed to English. It has Wood as one of the preset fuels. I'm using the Easyheat software on the trial period. 1. I didn't notice that in the manual either. The standard testo has 2 filters and a condensation trap so not sure what extra that adapter can do.
