There's a homebrew recipe over at this Backyard Metal Casting site.Which is a REALLY cool site all around. I've just gotta build one of his oil-burners!! |

Hey Donkey, gathering french fry grease is a whole lot easier than cutting firewood! Hmmmmmm, I'm feeling the warmth again!

 Not here, bro!! There's like one fryer place anywhere inside of sixty miles in any direction and a local bio-diesel place already has dibs..  But yeah, ain't that just TOO cool?!? |

One thing I discovered when gathering veggie oil is that the restaurants get charged up to 15 dollars a 55 gallon barrel to have the stuff hauled away. When I approached the owner of the establishment and told him I would haul it away for free I usually got all I could use free. I ran my Toyota pickup (diesel) and a VW Golf and a Mercedes all on home made biodiesel for almost 3 years.
