Hi there,
I'm thinking of using some CF Board for a heat riser,25mm thick either in 1260 or 1400 degree C variety, perhaps doing something similar to Endrunner's Dragon heat riser. He uses vermiculite board. I'm just wondering if you know of any advantage to the one or the other...

www.vitcas.com/ceramic-fibre-boardAccording to this information, CF board has ideal properties for heat riser, it would also be good for the burn tunnel, especially if the burn tunnel is built in a way that allows re-lining if required. One negative to consider is that it is carcinogenic.
