I should have said that this mould is re-usable. So this is how this one is used. See photo ref/link below. After initial cure, turn the whole mould and casting over. Remove the packing from behind number 1, and take out inwards to avoid the side trip. Take out the 4 bolts joining the sections and squeeze them together with a hand clamp to free them from the casting. Remove number 2. Remove number 3 away from side trip. Remove number 4 and 5. The foam rubber between the sections has to be firm enough to not distort when casting but soft enough to allow the mould to reduce a little to release from the core. The roof trip is in the lid. postimg.org/image/3wrrcpbp9/

Very nice indeed. What is the mix?
Do you have any feedback on how it ran and is holding up? Any photos with the riser etc in place?

Man that core is cool! What were the ingredients? It's much thinner than many are making them!
Specific questions about your trip wires, how far from the end of the feed tube are they, and how much profile is there (how far do they stick out from the burn tunnel wall/ceiling)?
No P-channel? Did you cob the thing or insulate it?
How's it working, what sort of temps are you getting from it?
Lovely work, hope to here more about this great build.
