you can search you tube for reviews of commercially made TLUD's and rocket stoves, as well as plans for lightweight models you can build yourself...
Biolite is a brand name innovative stove with integrated TEG, not sure if it's on the market yet...
I'd say build your own...it's more fun

Silverfire out of Eugene, Oregon will be selling a small TLUD backpacker this fall. They have a 12 lb larger (bucket-sized) TLUD. I have a Stove-Tec of about the same size, it weighs double. The man who built Stove-Tec now runs Silverfire. Might be worth a look! www.silverfire.us

I think backpackable and rocket are unlikely to go together. Wood gas is doable, but rockets need to be larger to have reasonable combustion.

There's the tin can rocket. Google that to find the plans and TONS of youtube videos.. I don't usually bring a stove when I'm camping.. I build a Dakota Fire Pit.

The compact stainless steel 9 oz SilverFire Scout will be launched mid to late January 2014. This stove is a very clean burning TLUD gassier. The anticipated retail price of $49.95, includes small stuff bag. It collapses down to 2.5" tall by 5" wide. It can pack in a large pocket. It is designed for backpacking, bug out bags. It is designed for small pots. To learn more: www.silverfire.us, click on Stoves, then Scout for photos or to learn more. There also is a video on an early prototype on the site.
