I've read the book, but I still have a hard time following some of the threads. Could be just a lack of healthy brain cells, but I'd like to see a glossary of terms as the relate to rocket stoves. The terms I've run across just this morning are venturi, testo, peter channel, and trip wire brick. I guess I'm wanting a rocket stove dictionary.

None of the terms you mention are IN the book. This here's bleeding-edge territory, mate. Ain't no dictionary, (yet) though, if yer signing up... Welcome to the boards.

Donkey
I agree with Boiled that reading many of the posts can be pretty confusing when the meanings of the terms used are found elsewhere - especially for a new guy.
Is there a way that a glossary page can be setup where the people who benefit from this site can ad terms as we find them?
It might work something like:
Term -- Short definition -- Link(s) to where it is used
I think the hard part might be setting it up alphabetically AND allowing new terms to be inserted out of sequence. i.e adding P-channel AFTER trip wire is already in the glossary.
If this can be done I'd be happy to spend some time adding terms. I'm sure others would too.
Just a thought Pete

I think it's a fine idea. You know, anyone can start a post labeled "Glossary of Terms" (or something appropriate) and get on with it. A lot of us would jump in and add as it goes along and I would be glad to help by locking, making sticky, moving, read-adjusting format and/or any other activities needed that are only available to mods/admins..
I just don't really have the time to go and start that thread myself. In my opinion, it would be far better as a community effort anyway. So.. Great idea! Go for it.. (it's what I meant by "if yer signing up")

That's the point. I'll start a thread with a few terms within the next couple of days and add to it from time to time. Hopefully others will add to it. If someone beats me to starting the thread, Great! I'll add to that. Pete
