Calm down guys, i know this stuff is dangerous.
But, is it refractory? Would it work in a heat riser? I know it would be dangerous to others as the particles of asbestos would be dragged outside by the flue gasses.

It's a mix with normal portland cement, which isn't heat resistant. Please don't use it, it will burst in pieces when heated over 500 C and will send airborne asbestos fibers all around your neighborhood.

Cutting is no problem with a diamond blade. Crushing with any hammer.
