Hi, does anyone know of a simple diy test to distinguish between bio-soluble and non bio-soluble ceramic fibre?
I bought two different thicknesses from different sellers on the internet. One is paper like and the other is blanket, and even though they were sold as bio-soluble, I'd really like to be sure as I'm going to use them in a cook stove with a black oven. I also bought ceramic fibre board but that's definitely non bio-soluble so I'm not going to use it. Thanks

Oh, by the way, at no point in the stove will the ceramic fibre be in direct contact with the flue gasses but just to be sure and also for future modification or demolition, I want to use the safest alternative.
