I know it doesn't have anything to do with rockets (still waiting for some funds to make my own) but last night, my carbon monoxide alarm went on, showing 55 PPM. The house where empy all day, so the stove was left unnatended since the morning, and all windows where closed all day. Very little embers where lit between the ashes when i cleaned the stove around 18.30. I fired it and when fire was strong i closed the primary air. Around 10 PM the alarm went on, i opened several windows until the concentration went down to 0. Later in the night, with windows closed, numbers went up to 38 PPM and with only one crack in the upper window went back to 0. This is the first time it happens to me, since march we are running the stove without problems. Only thing than changed is than i run out of wood and buy other, and this batch seems less dry than the previous one. Any suggestions on why this is happening and how to avoid it? thanks in advance

Well fasardi, welcome to the highly variable world of wood burning devices. From what you said about the new batch of wood being possibly wetter I guess that the added moisture is causing your stove to burn at a slightly lower temperature. This may reduce the ability of the stove to burn the CO which could be your problem. There is also a chance that there is a slightly different chemical composition in the new wood that causes the chemistry to produce more CO than the old wood. Then there is the outside conditions, wind speed and direction could cause some draft issues.
Good luck with your research into the problem and let us know what you find.

Well maybe there's answer. Since that day, I'm burning two mixed batchs of wood and everything is going fine. Last night I realized that the night of the incident I cleaned the stove and left a the bucket full of ashes and embers inside the house... So maybe that's really the problem!
