I am looking for a source of cast iron cook tops to build into a institutional multi fire rocket. Of course there is the old stove salvage options which might be what ends up happening , but I would like to check into sources for new to be able to order matching sets. Anyone have any ideas other than Tulikivi? Thanks!  |

I found a good source (for the northwest anyway) and just ordered the range tops. They deal a Finnish brand called Pisla Oy and have several sizes of cooking plates with decent fins on the bottom. They also sell all kinds of other masonry stove parts like ash doors, bake oven doors, and fireplace doors with/without glass etc. They are called North Stone Heat Supply and are in Battle Ground, WA and have a decent web site. |

Wow, nice parts. I am in the process of designing a batch burn rocket indoor stove with cook top, ovens and warmer space.
