Has anyone attempted to use Propylene Glycol and/or Ethylene Glycol instead of or in addition to water in a tank for heat transfer for a rocket heater system? (To raise the boiling point.)

I have not, but propylene glycol is safer for toxicity. Used as food additives etc.

From what I have been told, the antifreeze will raise and lower the boiling point, freezing point but water will conduct heat better than the antifreeze.

From what I have been told, the antifreeze will raise and lower the boiling point, freezing point but water will conduct heat better than the antifreeze. A trade off: More safety against less efficiency.
