Hello All,
I know a lot of us use Sketchup for modeling stoves and ideas.
I recently got a new Windows laptop to work on the go and when I went to download Sketchup on it there was only a web based version available.
I also had to upload my model on Sketchup's Cloud to use and save it, no longer on my computer's hard drive. The good thing is now you can use an Android system to model with in the web based version (something I thought was silly since it is a Google product but only worked with Windows or Mac)
It was a different to use, but slower than using it right off my computer drive, and I couldn't find a way to download it back to my laptop to work offline. I found a copy of Sketchup 2016 online and downloaded that instead and it worked much better on my laptop.
I could not find a copy of the Sketchup 2017.exe. But I did find one on my old desktop computer.
It seems Sketchup in going the way of Photoshop and Coreldraw, like no longer free, rental models of business, less local control or ridiculously expensive.
FYI...

You can still download Sketchup Make 2017 (free version) here: www.sketchup.com/download/allYou can also get Pro 2016 and Pro 2017 but I'm cheap. EDIT: I noticed that the only 32-bit version that is available for download is SketchUp Pro 2016. Perhaps this is the hiccup?
