Hello guys. I would like to start a new project. rocket stove with plate for cooking, oven and hot mass. I wondered which would be the best design. I do not know if a batch box with risers under the plate is enough to guarantee high heat, the same thing for the J tube. the L or V type remains, although not very comfortable, to cook is the ideal but it is not to heat the bell. could a hybrid system be possible? use a J tube that becomes a L tube if needed? . someone has direct experience with batch box used mainly for cooking? thank you

Hi Matt I followed your post, I think it is a very interesting core, I do not consider it only because in my area it is very difficult to find flame-resistent insulated bricks. From what I understand it is necessary to use insulating bricks throughout the core structure. thank you
