The first one made it for him and the second is a professional mason.
I hope that helps or make a brainstorm.
But in fact in the two cases we are far from the Ianto way because it's a little bit expensive.

Both are very interesting designs.
I can't help but criticize though when I see burn tunnels this long.


It's just too much.

Or not. The burn tunnel whith eight bricks long is page 39 in the Ianto Evan's book.
This rmh works, the question is could it work better whith a shorter burn tunnel?

It might work better with a shorter burn tunnel.. I see why he's doing it that way, there's quite a bit going on with the stove.
Good work either way. The important part is that it works.
And apparently, it does.
