Peter. Are you around? Well, we know that the broken riser works. At least for Matt and Cramer. Also, we know that stub risers worked for Matt and the Shilo/adiel team. My question now. Would a flat riser work? I imagine a batch box, right under the oven, with a stub of round riser. Then, it would enter the oven against the vault's base, and become wide and flat against the vault's wall. Up to may be Two thirds of the arch. Something along this line, but inverted, obviously. What do you think?

Not the faintest idea, although it looks like the double vortex can be implemented in any direction, not just up. Part of the heat should get under a false (floating) floor in order to obtain a baking floor which is hot enough. Can you do that?

M'well. That should be doable somehow.
