So... While I know that it is a complete waste if energy, I am trying to come up with an outdoor batch box that puts up some kind of flame other than the "out of the riser" that we normally see... like a gas firepit flame, or something cool (spread out, linear, square, X, something similar to the appeal of a normal fire pit), that also puts out heat. Any ideas? One thing I have always disliked about a bonfire/firepit is the smoke chasing you which a rocket of some sort may alleviate...

Bring on the design ideas please! Lets step out of the box for a bit!
