I haven't had the time to research to see if any other companies offer these hybrids. I do know that the hybrids sold out almost immediately in my area. It's a cool idea to be able to switch from gas to charcoal.

Yeah, it's good to see someone come up with such an obviously simple solution for charcoal purists.

The gas grill has been referred to as the "microwave oven" of the back patio, and for good reason; it's quick. But just as many foods cannot be prepared to peak flavor and texture in a microwave, often the dry heat from coals does better.

I just wonder how they intend to deal with dust issues? Does it come with a flame-proof shop vac? Filters for the venturis?
