Has Karl or anyone else experimented with the calcinied kaolin lime lye castable and organic filler like sawdust. I have lots of sawdust. This is how I made my kiln bricks but those were fired not cured.

Both of these recommend using sodium silicate and lye. Do recommend using lime because of the different composition of calcinied clay or would recommend this as a sub for lime? Have yoi seen any papers that deal with saw dust geopolymers at higher temps than 60 C? Thanks so much for your expertise

Lime accelerates the hardening significantly and therefore leaves less time for segregation. Lime also ensures curing at ambient temperatures. With quick lime and waterglass curing time can become extremely short. Geopolymers are temperature resistant by nature.
