I wonder how far they were from our rockets! Even way older technology, where Cro magnons burned bones relied onto air channels leading to the fire. The whole hut served as a chimney, creating the draft.

Neat.
Also looks like the beehive/kiva stove. You know, stick a rack up towards the top and that beehive becomes a smoker.
Oh, and does this mean we don't get Bloody Marys this morning?
