This weekend I made some updates on my stove. I added copper sheet metal around most of the bell. I already have 1" copper pipes spaced around the bell from last year. The new set up moves the heat that would go out into the room, now is going up into a larger dome. The dome now has three stainless steel bowls. 15" inside, a 22" outside and a 16" in the middle. I have a heat blanket between the 15" and the 16" bowl. The extra heat is working great. The top inside dome temp is with in 100 dgrees of the cooking stone temps.
I also added a small exhaust fan near the stove. I was able to cook in the room and keep room temps around 75 degrees. My hope is to be able to use it this summer and not get roasted from high room temps. I would add photos but the site is always over its limit.
Thanks
Nick

Thanks for posting about your experiences. you can store the photos on an external site - I use 'box' then create a link to them. What you are doing sounds very interesting but without being able to have a butchers I really haven't a clue what you are talking about unfortunately. Could really do with those pictures!

Photobucket.com is pretty easy to use. If I can do it, then anyone can.
