we just demolished our old porch and I was wondering about the pile of painted wood that we have sitting here. Could it be used as fuel in a rocket stove?
also, an unrelated question, is there anything you have to keep in mind if you are building a rocket stove in an out door space?
THANKS

Err.. Any idea what the paint IS? Some might be OK (non-toxic) to burn, some might not.. Most likely, (unless you know otherwise-for sure) the paints WILL be toxic when burned. Especially considering its an "exterior" product. I wouldn't.
Outdoor rocket: Wind mainly, gusty bursts can do interesting things.. Like shoot flame (or just smoke) out the feed box. If it's for cooking and designed to set a pot right on the heat riser (open to the sky), some stoves can shoot sparks pretty high.
