Hi all,
I'm new to the forum, so please excuse me if I'm not exactly tuned to you all.
I'm in south west of France in a wooden house with thick insulation.
I just finished a rocket stove from a 220liters (55gallons) barrel.
There are 10 meters long (33 feet) of brick tunnelling and is featured with a copper pipe around the barrel to heat a water tank complementing the thermal solar panels. That's enough to keep the hot water between 50 and 60°C (120 to 140F) for 4 persons.
We burn 8kg (16lbs) a day to keep the house between 21 and 23°C (70-74F) and heat the water.
The total weight is above 4 tons.
We plastered the whole beast with this mix :
-2 buckets of red clay
-6 buckets of orange sand
-800grams of red oxyde pigment
-400grams of sienne clay pigment
