I can't wait to find out if the green food machine is worthy of a Bam!

Well, i might have left it a smidge long at 2 hours But the inside is perfect. Tastes nice, even without seasoning. I need to find a rectangular deep tray which is 17cm wide to cook in there. Doing "poulet aux olives" (roast chicket stuffed, with olives onion quaters and taters as a side, all cooked in the same tray, with a bit of olive oil!) would be nice!

It looks like it turned out pretty good. Cooking in the batch box is about like cooking on the exhaust manifold of a car. The poulet aux olives sounds awesome! I think I will try that when I get a chance.

I assume that you let a batch of wood burn to coals before using the batch box as an oven?

I assume that you let a batch of wood burn to coals before using the batch box as an oven? Very few embers left, and that's all. Two hours is too much for a chicken.

I assume that you let a batch of wood burn to coals before using the batch box as an oven? I had a load of pizzas to cook so kept the fire going with some 1" thick bits of wood just to keep the heat consistent.
