I recently learned about the Tesla Turbine and it has me wondering if the air intake for the rocket stove would create a stronger vortex if it's position was lined up to the perimeter of the circle instead of centered; like the Tesla Turbine. I will probably try it on a wood log rocket stove to see if it generates a more sustainable vortex.

You mean a cyclonic rocket? donkey32.proboards.com/thread/1921/cyclonic-rocketI have donne something along those lines. J tube feed, entering radially into an expansion chamber. Like a dust collection cyclone. Melted the gas bottle i used to make the expansion chamber.
