hi all,i have started to use this two parts P-channel in my last few builds,so i would like to share the idea here. Its quite basic ,with this configuration by pulling the horizontal part of the P-channel a few cm out ,the vertical part will just fall or can be pull out in to the fire chamber.Than new vertical part can be slit in and by pushing the horizontal part back in you will lock it together. Here is a link to few picks. and here s101.photobucket.com/user/snake11112/library/18cm%20batch%20box%20rocket%20heater%20with%20bench

Nice Radek, thanks a lot for sharing. And this is a nice stove you're building.

Radek, I'm guessing this is for ease of replacement, correct? The bench is looking good. Are you putting in 6 inch duct for the bench run? thanks

Are you putting in 6 inch duct for the bench run? thanks Well, i think i can answer that. It's not a usual type bench with a tube inside, but a bell bench.

Nice one Radek, it probably isn't leak-proof but I doubt it will matter much.

Actualy Radek, a few comments and questions. Do you make your top slabs yourself? And what do you join theses with? Are your pozzolan flue blocks for the chimney lined? Or you use them as is? It's what i have in the workshop and flat. And the comment, "stop hiding your brickwork!" It looks soo nice!

Thank you Peter, its not leak proof but i stuff some fire wool around there a don't thing it sucking out ob the bell. Max i don't make those concrete slabs my self .They are sidings for side- walks ,they don't have no rebars in them and are vibrated so no air bubbles. What i usually do is to set them in to layer of fire clay sand and in between it i just glue some thiner layer of fire-wool.So the slabs are not glued together so each can expand on its own.The chimney is lined and insulated and 6.5m tall. And about the brick work-you made me laugh ,thanks. Dustylfc Thx
