Hello,
I am planning an 8" rmh.
For the bench exhaust gas run can I use hvac duct instead of chimney flue pipe?
As the hvac ducting is surrounded by cob I would think this should be ok but wanted to ask if anyone has done this.

Round pipe with cob around it will be much stronger than a box shape.
What size duct are you planing on using?
If it is square setting it up like a diamond would prevent more squashing of the duct than setting it like a square.

I would use round duct. 8 inches.

I believe many people use the round hvac duct in the bench. I would use round duct. 8 inches. That should work.
