Well guys. I've decided to get a friend to make me a barrel, or a bell. I mean a square piece of tube 50cmx50xm closed at one end. Into which will sit the heat riser of an eight incher (my italian square refractory earth tubing) That bell will be covered with stacked refractory bricks, for slower release of the heat. The bellish thing will be 0.3m3 With aproximately 3.75m² in contact with the bricks. I don't have much room. Do you think i should also devise a bench to gather some more heat?
Thanks a lot.
Max.

Yes. Can you get a "half-barrel" system into the space as well?

Yes. Can you get a "half-barrel" system into the space as well? Well, i have that old grey metallic locker that i might fit with one half barrel inside. If i could find 60 litres ones, that would be better. And i would fill with concrete the whole thing. Thanks for your reply Donkey.

Thanks a lot Matt. Well, the main prob i have with this, is that i haven't been able to keep the tubes straight. Well, live and learn. Plan is to suround this with bricks laid dry, to make it look good Put my sofa's cushions on top, and ditch the old sofa base. I don't know what i'm gonna feed it with as of yet. The green batch one? Or the eight incher J tube in the works. Most certainly the later. But i know it's too big for my flat! And there's the weight! This thing is about 215 litres and 580 kilos I have a weird floor, RSJ and red brick with poured concrete on top! I hope i'll hold!
