Max, IE won't currently post on Permies, at least as of this morning. Load up Firefox and I'll bet you'll be glad you made the change. They are aware of the IE problem though, so I'm sure it will be fixed before too long.

Thanks a lot for the Help guys. Matthew, i won't switch to anything else. Firefox, chrome or whatnot. I'm not too keen on their policies. Even, i don't use a more modern IE, i have the old number eight. I know my way around it. I still use XP X64, with a special machine. 2 dual processors, for a total of four cores. Fair bit of memory. I won't use intel. Next change gonna be when SSD hard drives become cheap enough for me. I'm kind of stubborn when it comes to computers.

karl, do you recommend an Os or browser? Linux Mint (based on Ubuntu) is very simple to install even for Linux newbies. www.linuxmint.comThere are ISOs with and without codecs. I prefer the MATE surface, but KDE, Xfce or Cinnamon are available too. All in 32 or 64 Bit. The 32 Bit version is runnung on weak hardware (Netbook) nicely. Installation is much faster than any Windows. The Firewall is disabled by default, but easy to enable. Mint 13 Maya is a long term support release (LTS), supported until April 2017. The newest is Mint 14 Nadia. I have started to use Linux 15 years ago.

Yep.. I was gonna say either Mint or Ultimate Edition, which is a really solid Ubuntu distro. You'll need to make do without IE... Firefox is pretty much ubiquitous in Open Source OSs..
