Usually, to build a Mass heater, one would fill up the hollow bricks you showed. To get an efficient bell, one needs to store heat in dense heavy walls and transfer the heat to a large radiating surface. Hollow bricks are light and do not conduct heat efficiently.
If I understand well your project, your bell will heat most likely the corridor.
Can you post drawings with RMH and bell skins position and material ?
