Hello folks, at last, after 5+ years of reading and planning, I've built my first rocket! It has a black oven and a cast iron cooking plate, and seems to work quite well even without a chimney (which, of course, will be mounted a bit later). As seen on video, we loaded a small bunch of pine bits to test it right after the last brick was laid, and, being still cold and wet, the heater almost shown us some ram horns nevertheless! I'm so excited and pleased to see this! building in progress: drive.google.com/file/d/11NYYJCh3kzd4hcKPGtuXn7WJS0HNl5oc/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1B49diQUdeskmKZhm7Yxr06x53oenNMfY/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1EAf6_80v4fLwX9Gojhb1oxRucclfXquJ/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1Ggxr0PMuoUB1zRCj1F2xczYYNcVCU6Ci/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1NiXq_1BoRK8XneokW3VUSKPq5xRPufks/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1P1CX7nBSKkFcYe0U4mQsN3U1DRusclyJ/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1PPxFYHFX2CcMbtK6JgfxOudfAG7uLJQV/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1Vp-Hx2zJ_4YOBSGOG67kg5_LiGtKv0j4/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1Xrc8BucNhW6SeXMgze1LUb3Lv2BxARqR/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1ZAckA4XZZHzCECZQzpVXXpKQbV73dQsU/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1cTOPgYTz9frV0Y93kUp4sYKy8djs1O7o/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1lsVE2rlI2sg1VzynvF6pCe0p0a5EgU9E/view?usp=sharing, drive.google.com/file/d/1o32n76qScsSIYpNRlyL536Pa7QsTBoaH/view?usp=sharingfirst burn: drive.google.com/file/d/1Q9p7yL4K8vlPhIv3MyN0mGzMAMj4kAsP/view?usp=sharinghappy builder and happy owner: drive.google.com/file/d/1pmAEabBE-U9JNUVmNSn2iMl2Qn6xU8SN/view?usp=sharingSo much respect and gratitude to Peter and all of you guys! First burn video and happy picture are visable, the rest isn't. Presumably because those aren't made public yet?

how about now? should work this time.
meanwhile, about materials. The whole thing is made of refractory bricks 230x114x65 mm, with 3-to-1 sand/clay mortar. Vertical burning chamber insulated with 1 cm basalt mat. Narrow stripes of the same mat laid under the cooking plate and around oven door frame. It took 3 days (including the base) and 154 bricks to build.
first burn shown pretty much sooting, but i guess that it's gonna burn out once the heater completely dries and chimney takes its place and some fine dry hardwood goes in))

i did a clay/sand mix and then on top a NHL mortar mix - hydraulic lime/sand mortar and it's worked out fine apart from some cracks that i'm going to repair.
