Satamax see the post 2749 from peterberg. a little bit higher on first page. peterberg has been tested this placement of the port but without neutral vane.
Please see batchrocket.eu/en/workings#stream
I just changed the configuration exactly in the center of riser. unfortunately I do not have a gase tester to experiment. I go on Peter Berg hand. is faaar away in front of me in this matter.

DCP, when i say, it's all theoretical, on the neutral vane side. I mean, i haven't tested it with speed analysis,, turbulence checking, or a testo. But i have experimented twice with it. This one. Which had a neutral vane, and the gas canister as an expansion chamber, or cyclone, more or less. The top of the expansion chamber got so hot, that it sagged under it's own weight. That's 3mm gas canister steel. That thing had spalled so bad that the Feed tube and burn tunnel entrance had clogged up, pretty much. The 6mm thick hydraulic pipe elbow was like puff pastry. And i have done something similar to a sidewinder, crappy attempt, which was kind of cyclonic without a neutral vane. No pics of that one. Then switched to Peter's proper batch. And have stuck with it since. Except for the vertical batch attemps. youtu.be/m3bVQWuCEQ8

I found some time ago a video on you tube in wich Peter was explaining to Paul Weaton about the spalling of steel in rocket stoves. Hard to find again... Remember that spalling was about a combination of factors: heat, oxigen, air speed... so on Peter Berg says in that video that what ever one makes the spalling cannot be avoided even with stainless steel. I guess that amount of heat can hyde low efficiency in burning wood gass. MY guess... a lot of heat not guarantees high efficiency. That is what I am looking for. I am a cheep bastard who do not want to spend allot warming the house. extra money for beer...

Beeing made of metall will disturb the heating off bell?? Should I lay briks in the back of oven?? If yes it will be hot enough to make a pizza innside?? is my first build need advice....
