I can't recall any info on bell exhaust exit in relation to the primary air intake locations. Can a vertical masonry bell exit to chimney be lower than the primary air intake on a batch box? What would happen if the primary air intake was 12 inches higher than the bell exhaust? Lots of smoke back? Reduced draw?

See my workshop heater batchrocket.eu/en/applications#threebarrel and the heater in my living room batchrocket.eu/en/applications#redbell. What would happen if the primary air intake was 12 inches higher than the bell exhaust? Lots of smoke back? Reduced draw? As far as I know, one foot difference won't do more than just lower the exhaust temperature quite a bit. Lastly, I did the design and part of the build of a heater in a university courtyard in Brussels. It happened to be an 8" version, without a door or secondary air inlet. Exhaust lower as much as 11" as compared to the air intake. Chimney ends 8'2" above the bell while the inside 6'6" of the chimney is insulated with 1" of superwool. Starting for the first time wasn't easy since the thing was soaking wet. Last bricks were laid just a bit more than an hour before.
