Nice work, tadiv. I like the traditional construction techniques on the bench.
68C sounds perfect to me, Jura.

Hi all, I have to open the bench to build a bypass into it... Cold start is complicated Hi Tadiv. Thanks for your feedback. I must admit I can not figure out why you placed the damper down there ? Just to cut off the bench form the gasses route? I hope thus created shortcut will be enough and the internal draft of heat riser will suffice for a cold start. I'd be grateful if you keep us abreast :-). How about installing a piece of pipe for eventual temp measurements? Hugs

Hi Jura, nice to hear you... 😊 I disappeared, because the summer was very busy, lot of work was around my house, around my car...
Yes, this sortcut now is enough for the cold start, it is cutting down the Way of the gases from the bench, when it's "open", the gases directly flow to the chimney...
Experience of my batch rocket, after one heating season:
- very good efficiency, more than my another classic 5 smoke way tile stove (called Polish 5 😉) - bench comfortly warm, my children love it and everybody, who came to us too - measuring points not included yet, but without these I know that the bench is slows the gas flow, and the temperature of gases colder than the neccesary...😔 From the bench the gases flows through a metal pipe to the brick cimney, on the pipe fittings I see condensated water drops... I can immagine what condensated on the inner wall of the chimney... After the bypass including (bench is not heated)there is no waterdrops, the pipe warmer but I think not enough, I can touch it, it is about 40-45C, low...
Chimney check is the following... I'll write the experieces...

Hi everybody,
I'm starting to plan my New RHM. Double shoe box rocket like me, it shows how does RHM work, how it burn with secoundary air inlet, it will be perfect visual complementary part of may flat. I want to build it from brick and stove tile combo. I need some advice about the dimensions, my chimney let me 150mm system, the dimensions are the same like RMH? Where I find datas about it?
Thanks,
tadiv
