Hello guys. This is the second rocket stove that I built. the first batch box. I would like to thank Peter for making available this design, works very well, and are very satisfied! is a system of 6 "with the combustion chamber 60 cm, ISA 7 square meters approximately. Bypass mid bell and chimney at 23 cm from the floor of the stove (although here there is a change). The total length of the chimney is 4.5 meters completely straight. The shape of the bell is not symmetrical and the heat distribution on the front is not homogeneous, but I'm quite satisfied. I can say for now that if I turn off the stove at 22:00 with forehead temperature of 115 degrees Celsius, the next day at 13:00 hours the heater has a surface temperature of 45 degrees. Now I'm thinking about the distribution of air to heat the rest of the house.

Cool. Is it based on the door Peter posted some time back, or your own design? I'm thinking I'll end up building my own eventually, so any details / pics of the design / construction that you're up for sharing would be much appreciated.

The door was built according to my design, but unfortunately I have to share it projects it designs, I made using the "design" in my head. But I can do more detailed photos if you can be helpful. I added the section below for the ash and I have yet to build a top that closes the secondary air duct that will close when the stove is turned off. I am also providing an automatic closing of the bypass according to the T of the chimney, using Arduino, a board with Atmel is an option but I would not need to use it to my whim.

Very cool, looking forward to pics. At this point any concepts I can get visual on are a help. Thank you!

Nice. But i would say, very Italian looking. That mixture of jointless red bricks, white plaster. Granite. I can show you at least three or four trattorie e pizzerie around the border, which have counters, ovens etc! looking just like this

I come from the pizza ovens do not look like this ... but this design was not copied deliberately, I believe that being Italian I was spontaneous, and with an obvious forcing by the wife. the idea was, however, to make look like a storage stove with a fireplace so popular around here ... For those who see it says "nice fireplace" is not a fireplace, is a storage stove ... I wonder if here sooner or later it will spread the culture of using high-efficiency stoves. The stone you are referring to is called Luserna.

Ciao Indi. Well, i should have said piemontese look then! May be! I know Luserna, Luserna san giovanni is about 120km from me. But that's mountain roads. I'm about 5km away from the border in a straight line. And Luserna is may be 60km further in a straight line. I've passed by few times.

Hi Indy, i live in Serre Chevalier above Briançon. That's on the other side of Bardonecchia and Sansicario pretty much. 212km from you aproximately. Not that far hey! Mind you, i've never been up your neck of the woods. Further South i know. But never been that far north of Turin.
