Hi guys, I think an update is well over due. I've had to put up the back veranda before continuing with the heater, but I'm back into it now. And I really have to have it finished before this coming winter. I'll see if I can include some images here.  |

I'm currently working on the two door latches. The design that I've come up with is a cam locking mechanism to clamp the seal against the firebox once the latch has been rotated closed.  |

I bought this concrete vibrator for the castings. I was going to set up a vacuum system, but it would have been pretty costly and time consuming. Hopefully this will give good results. I haven't done any of this type of casting before, so any tips would be most welcome.  |
