Hey Thomas, there's a big movement in northern euroland, with twenties and thirties feel. Germany and Latvia, lituania and that neck of the woods are real keen. With people buying the proper furniture, clothes etc! I think it all started with rockabilly bands, delving into earlier stuff, like postwar Andrews sisters. Are you aware of Hayseed dixie? Another fucked up way to do covers As for "old music" in the US, there's few bands i'm real keen on. Like Devil makes three, iron and wine, brown bird and that movement. In Rockabilly land, i'm real keen on this tune. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rlYPb2plaY&list=PL130E4EDCFC08ED60

Thanks max; I enjoyed all of them, but in particular "the devil makes three" was my favorite.

I knew who you were talking about as soon as I seen the thread title, Postmodern Jukebox cover of Creep was the first I heard of them - gave me goosebumps. Sexyist version of a downer song I've come across.
