Hey Sata. No worries. I am Canadian (whatever that really means…) I live on an island amidst a disappearing rainforest, in an intentional media vacuum. But i do look southward for a little dose of americana every now and then... On another note: first track at bottom of page - yeshe.com.au

Now that's more my 42 year old speed!!! grew up playing the cello, then the bass guitar, with a smidge of bagpipes thrown in for good measure. Gave up on rock and roll years ago... Eric VW

That is great, Eric! I've got a smidge of Scottish blood in me, gotta love the bagpipes. Stumbled across this, not sure if this is your kind of cello...

This here is a link to a classic strings arrangement. When I was in my senior year of HS, we worked on this from Sept of '90 til June of '91.... I am still moved by it and clearly remember hitting notes as high and higher(7th position is darn near at the end of the finger board!) than the one cellist in the G.O.T. vid! I hope you give up the 9 minutes it plays for, you shouldn't be disappointed! Samuel Barber - Adaigo For Strings - YouTube www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5APae-wR_YEric PS- You said u are a bit of a hippie , so you might not have seen the movie "Platoon" but this was used in that film...

My bad @daryl! At least yer laughing! Aside from its use in that movie, the high point of that song has always been a triumphant one... the result of those loooong months of perfecting it in my orchestra days, and the outro sort of reassures that the slow start and struggles (at the beginning of the song/and working with the actual music)were all for gain! I think I read of your situation on FHC- he didn't deserve you! May the longer days radiate on your heart, Eric VW

Congrats on your accomplishment! It always feels good to conquer a challenge. Do you still play?
