Any idea what to use thèses for in a rocket? Thanksalot! Max.
They look useful Max. They come in all shapes and sizes in Italy so probably the same in France. The ones I have used for external walls have more cavities for insulation purposes.
How about laying them wet (or dry) around the firebox with the cavity running vertical, filling the gaps with perlite (or a perlite/clay/sand mix) as you go? Cap it off with what the Italian's call a 'tavelletta' - a long hollow clay block - again filled with perlite.

Morticio, for the fireboxes, i have better choices. It's more like, filling theses with concrete, to make a bell!
