Matt, I was looking for the thinner ones to wrap ceramic wool around...to be used more as a form than anything. A form I wouldn't have to remove.What exactly do I call these things so I don't sound like an idiot when I contact my local refractory supply places?

Ask for riser sleeves, and if that doesn't make sense to them say you want vacuum formed ceramic fiber sleeves/tubing/cylinders.

Matt, you mentioned riser sleeves in another thread. Is this what you are referring to? I've found a supplier here in the UK that does them in 152mm (6") inside diameter x 150mm (6") tall x 8mm wall thickness. Are yours a similar size? Reasonable @ £2.50 each, but trouble is they come in boxes of 27.
