I believe Peter was linked to this video on his You Tube channel, and somewhere here on the forum by docbb . and expressed a doubt about a proper combustion of this "pechka" (ariyka). I decided to investigate the subiect on some russian forums. The only thing I missed was the exit flue gases analysis. Have you got any more links to the Ariyka topic? Btw. Matt I saw you answered sb on YT in a proper russian lng. Do you "gavarite po russskiy" ? |

Red bricks on top, mortared with clay : still wet. Burning pine. Maybe bottom chamber/port is too small? I can change it anyway. I divided the two chambers with metal plate. ... etc ... that's the end." Well I reckon he's missing good refractory/IFB/perlite/ceramic in the upper chamber, but who knows what it'll be like when dry. |
