Hi everyone, I'm new to this concept and have been researching different wood heat systems for a very large shop. Large = about 50,000 sq. Ft. in size. Located in the deep south, Alabama. I like the RMH concept and will be building a couple of them. However, I wanted to know if I'm barking up the wrong tree or not when it comes to heating a large building. I have area for a total of 3 heaters. So, let me have your verdict, Good, Bad, or Ugly!!!
All information is greatly appreciated. I'm a welder, fabricator, and occasional maker of nightmares with my creations. So, on that note, it will be built with steel and all sizing requirements can be addressed.
Thanks in advance for any input, Just call me Sparky

Sparky, i've been thinking about big rockets. For the barrel, you could use an old fuel oil, or propane tank. In the range of 5000L or even may be 10000L. May be horizontal feed burn tunel/heat riser, all made out of bricks. May be insulative ones. And use the concrete slab for the mass ;D
